I have noticed that, at times, some are discouraged about our 2nd Amendment rights being slowly removed. We have been so fortunate to have the kinds of rights and freedoms we have. Many have not and today do not have our level of freedom. Through history there have been a group of people who have suffered greatly because they served a King whose kingdom is not of this world. In our life time many of these people have suffered in Russia, China, N. Korea, Vietnam, etc. In the past, too, they were ". . . tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection: And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yes, and of bonds and imprisonment: They were stoned, they were sawn in two, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented; (of whom the world was not worthy they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth. . . " (Hebrews 11:35-38) If we, like they have a better hope, then if we lose rights, it is not the end, because some day when we stand before that King, we will have won.
