Discounted Handguns

I don't know how much savings there will be but at WWW.Fourseasonsguns.com under closeouts are some handguns which are new, that can't be sold in MASS. They are offering these at a "discount" to out of state customers. There are some Glocks and others only about 6 or 7 types right now. I'm sure they will add more in the future.

It must suck to be a gun dealer and not be able to sell 1/2 of your stock to your local customers. I thought maryland was bad. At lease we can sell glocks here !

Those poor guys at 4 seasons should move their whole operation to another state.

Why dont you get rid of that nickel plated sissy pistol and get yourself a glock. :::Tommy Lee Jones:::

Taken from thier web site:

So far we have received notification from S&W that all of their revolvers and certain other models comply. We have a good selection of S&W revolvers in stock and have ordered other pistols that comply. Firearms that are "specifically designed and sold solely for target competition" such as the .22 caliber SW 22A target models.....

They also boldly provide a direct link to Smith & Wesson on their site.
To hell with them. Let them go out of business.

Gun slinger I understand your dismay, but would you rather us use sticks and stones to defend ourselves??? Right now if you want a new gun it's all you can buy here. The used guns are goining up. In alot of cases twice as much as a new one. I saw one guy selling a 92FS for the best offer over 1000.00 is that crazy or what.

Best offer over $1,000?!! Oh my God. Not that you couldn't see it coming, after what happened with "assault rifles."

Specialist, I truly do sympathize with your plight there. However the prospect of all of us having to resort to defending ourselves with sticks and stones is exactly why I am so adamate about this.
I am becoming extremely frustrated right now with some of the post here on TFL regarding Smith & Wesson's. I could easily fill the 100k thread limit with this one post simply posting links to threads from as recently as a month ago of members condeming S&W here on TFL. The members were saying we (gun owners) should not buy new Smith's and/or patronize a shop that continued to sell them. Smith and the shops and distributors that sold them were boycotted. Then over night it became exceptable to buy a new one if the shop wasn't going to replace it with a new example. Prior to this members had posted that the shops were returning guns to the distributors who were in turn returning them to Smith & Wesson, whom I suspect will melt them down and fashion Al Gore campaign buttons from them. Then it became exceptable to purchase guns from a shop that carried Smiths but not buy Smiths. Now it is alright to go to the factory and buy directly from them. What happened to the unity that gun owners were showing a month ago? If this continues the other manufatctures will be forced to join Smith in the deal with the Clinton administration. Given enough of this kind of apathy we will witness events described in the TFL Post 2010 thread currently going on in general discussion.
Disgusting that someone is profiteering on a Beretta asking $1000 bucks for it? Yes. Damn right. Would I simply sell out and join Smith and Wesson, William Jefferson Clinton in their attempts to destroy our rights? No!
If you think prices are high now wait until you see them after all of the manufactures are forced to bind to the will of Clinton. We had Smith, Clinton et. al. on the ropes. Now we are simply following along like sheep.

This "rant" is not directed at you personally nor anyone in particular. It is simply my frustration at witnessing what appears to be gun owners becoming lazy and excepting what Smith has done to us.

A pox on both their houses. The people of the People's Republic of Taxachusettes have done more then thier share of damage by continuing to send flawed representatives to do their bidding for them. More and more I am beginning to believe the Supreme Court may be our best hope to stop the anti crowd. Even liberal constitutionalist like Tribe are coming to the reluctant conclusion that the founding fathers did indeed mean for the people (individuals) to possess arms to protect themselves from an oppressive government. History and the writtings of these men are on our side. The anti's do not want to see this to go to the SC.

Gunslinger I concur. I sent an e-mail to Snivel & Whine telling them of my disapproval of their actions and my consequent cancellation of my order for a 945. Instead, I bought a new Beretta 92FS-B and ammo for its break-in (scheduled to happen on Sunday). Just my way of supporting a company that is unwilling to bow to Clinton and his ilk.

Pssst, Want to buy a new Sign & Whine? Just say no! Still tempted? Just say no way. These guys consented to rape rather than stand with the industry. The friend of our enemy is our enemy.

How big is MA, anyway? Unless you live in the center of the coast, you ought not to be too far from a border with a state that still sort of honors the Constitution--and there's no ban on POSSESSING these unsafe 1911s and Colt SAAs is there?

I do not live in Mass. However I remember when I visited there about 5 years ago that there are large signs at the border crosings that state that if you bring a gun into the state you will be jailed. Evidently, from talking to my cousin, the judge has no option but to sentence you. I would assume that this applies to people bringing a gun they had purchased in Rhode Island back across the border. It probably doesn't apply if you have a permit to own/carry though. I don't know.

On a side note, the above mentioned signs were also peppered with bullet holes. I found that rather amusing.

You out of staters(who don't live in MA) need to have a little understanding for those of us who live here. 1st of all we're not all stupid to be sending these liberal anti-gunners to Washington. Just in case you don't remember it only takes 51% of the vote to send someone to Congress. 2ndly if gunshops like 4Seasons go out of business as you guys are suggesting then effectively the anti-gunners get what they want WITHOUT legislative process. Right now 4Seasons is surviving on long guns, S&W revolvers and some of their semi-autos, and VERY LITTLE else. If they could sell Glocks, Sigs, Berettas, and H&Ks then maybe an S&W ban would make sense for them, but THEY CAN'T. It's a question of survival until the appeal process can work to overturn(soften) the AG's latest consumer protection laws. Right now I don't know if my guns are worthless(because I can't sell them in the state I live) or if they have gone up in value because I live in this state and people around me can't get them. I've decided not to sell any and to continue to buy what I can. Supposedly pre Sept 1998 semi-autos are grandfathered and can be bought, but the shops in MA don't have them so that means I have to go to NH or RI and pay for shipping and then the transfer fee in MA. Guess what, everything got more expensive and for used guns only. I'm not very happy and you out of staters better not get too smug and watch your 6.

I apologize for my tone in the previous post. I guess what I'm saying is what happened in MA could happen in your state. Don't judge too harshly how we(buyers and gunshops) react to what's going on here. Frequently in life you you must chose lesser of evils or you wind up throwing out the baby with the bath water.
