Discontinued Sig 1911 Target is it worth $1600?

And, personally, I wouldn't pay that much for a Sig 1911. I've seen widely varying reports about their quality control. I have a fairly early Sig 1911 that had to be sent back because of two issues. They did address them.

As much as I like most SIG pistols, including their 1911 configured pistols, I don't think a contemporary model will gain in value if discontinued.

Thanks Tunnel Rat. I have deleted the first paragraph and link in my post. I'm usually pretty good at noticing frauds, but that one got by me.
