Recently, Ruger had discontinued their line of SP101(.22 cal)revolvers, which I think is a very sad situation! However, following, are some pictures of my(NIB)Ruger SP101(.22)revolver(With the short shrouded barrel)that Ruger had first discontinued in the late 1990's:

If Ruger could have produced a line of SP101s with a fully adjustable rear sight like most models of the Single Six have - I would have bought one. Along with more barrel length choices.

I wish Ruger made the SP101 with different finishes and more calibers.I bought a SP101 357 3IN back in 94 and was planning on a 22 version. However my 357 was a dog and was shipped back for repair 3 times in 3 years.I never bought the 22.Instead the 357 was sold and I bought a Taurus 85 and a Taurus 94 which gave me excellent preformance so far.
