Yes, there is a locknut depending on the thickness of the primer pocket area. But it is quite forgiving as you can "pre-swage" a bit if you are doing mixed head stamps/years. For the most part mine stays in the same place all the time.
Only had to adjust locknut a partial turn when going to ZQI (MKE) from Lake City. Otherwise primers were extremely tight going in.
