Dillon Case Feeder Motor Upgrade?

Anyone know about or done a motor upgrade on a Dillon Case Feeder?

I'll take anything, links, videos, pictures etc.

The factory Dillon motors are getting awfully hot and starting to smell now that I've started running brass in volume.

I'll also take links to better case feeders, but not the F&FB feeder that costs $4,400 just can't bring myself to pay that for something that is basically stamped steel and/or plastic.

Not another Dillon motor, just going to cook it again.

Looking for something with more torque and cooling.
I know I saw an upgrade motor featured somewhere, just can't remember where...

I have made my own collators even 2ft diameter ones, you can get lots of different gear motors.

That said I don't have problems with Dillon collators even at rates of 4000+\hr.

The Largest one I made was for my brass sorter and I used a DC gear motor so I could adjust the speed.

Another collator I made I used a fan cooled motor.

If your really worried you could add a cooling fan, they will be cheaper then a better gear motor than Dillon uses.

I stole a couple of your ideas!
The small primer case flicker, and your 300 BO case cutter.

I built a couple of super size case feeders, started with a water heater leak pan.
Those things come up to 32" or 34" diameter pretty cheaply as a starting point.
4,000 has to be pistol brass, even short action rifle brass is MUCH slower...

The neck qualifier *Can* run at about 12k or 13k an hour, for hours on end since it uses PLC & proximity sensor to regulate action.
Same RPM would be fine with larger diameter feed disk so more cases slots would see the drop gate.

I was hoping there was an easy swap out for a motor that ran cooler, and maybe a little faster...
