Once in a while The primer slide on my LNL binds up and breaks the plastic part on the top that holds the primer rod. Maybe I need to clean it more often ?
I have had a couple LNL's and 650's and primed on both and pretty much every other progressive press one can get, as far as "primer feeding" the 650 is unmatched. The biggest complaint about the 650 is that it always feeds primers. That's not a bad thing.
The Loadmaster and 1050 will seat to more consistent depths though.
Take the punch off the press and push the bottom of the punch that hits the frame of the press. When you do this the punch will extend out of the housing. Now if the punch is solid its the new one. if the punch has a shoulder it an old one. The old one will jam with one piece of stick power.
I'll check to see if I have the old punch or the new one. The only time I have a problem is if any powder gets spilled suck as when the load fills the case near the top.
Prime on my lnl no issues if you are flexing the black plastic part you have a setting issue that also could be spilled powder? Watch 76 Highboy primer set up video you will be Golden
I am getting some spilled powder when loading 223 where the case is almost filled, I believe that is the problem. Also I make a mistake of not seating a new primer and loose powder out the primer hole. My fault not the presses.
If you shake powder on an lnl 9 times out of 1 pawl she need a little weak. Some sink balls on shell play 'WRONG" time your pawns stop spillage watch Highboy video on this subject... done deal
