I feel like I've really done well this month. I've kinda been keeping up with the threads from the guys who've obtained S&W 1917's and it's got me to thinking about my latest 1917. It came to me without the smooth GI grips and lanyard ring. Well through diligent search and patience, I managed to come up with a G/VG set of GI grips and a lanyard ring all for roughly 125.00 (total investment and swaps). I guess it still pays to be patient and to keep track of old friends.
