Difficult Bersa Thunder 380 decocker

Hey guys -
Posted this Q over on the pistolsmith.com forums too as it seems like between you two there are a lot of competant people that might be able to help me with my issue.

Bought a Bersa Thunder 380 a couple years ago and love the gun, except it has always had a somewhat difficult decocker. I'd like to open the slide and have a look at the components, to see whether I might be able to slick it up a little. Here's a schematic of the gun:

Item 11 is the decocker. How do I get that bugger outta' there? Looks like item 13 might unscrew and allow the other items to come out, including the firing pin. I'm figuring if I can get those items outta' there I might be able to determine what's needed to slick up its operation a bit.

Am I asking for trouble here, or should this be a pretty straight forward situation? Sure would appreciate your guys thoughts...

First of all,Never,Ever mess with the safety or decocker of any handgun if you are not trained to do this !!! Check your owners manual for warranty info. My Thunder 380 came with a Lifetime Service Contract. Contact BOLSA GUNSMITHING in California at 714-894-9100 or WALKER ARMS CO. in Alabama at 205-872-6231.
 
Well, I appreciate your concern but in this case there's no need to worry, it'll all be just fine...

Just to answer my own question in case anybody else could use info like this, I have found THE spot that answers this question, and most any other concerning the Bersa Thunder 380 right here:

BTW, once you've taken apart a few guns, you'll learn that there are some basic principles that apply to all guns. They are held together by roll pins or pins, spring tension or screws, or plungers and the like.
 
Decocker

Be grateful that your decocker is somewhat difficult. Mine is not difficult at all and in fact I am dealing with an issue now on my bersa 380 where the safety comes on at least once for every 50 rounds fired.
