Different shades of hard chroming

What type of hard chrome do you have on your pistols? Do you prefer a matte finish? What is the standard? Polished is out of the question for me due to glare. Please chime in with your thoughts.
 
Yep. Saw it at a local shop here in Dallas. Theydo all types of finishing. They were having a moving sale, so I dont know where they went, but yes it does exist. I didn't like the way it looked much, but it may have been them. It looked runny like gloss spray paint.
 
The guy who told me about it said that it was virtually indestructable and was nice and slippery (moving parts type slippery).
