Different Brands for Different Guns?

I was reading about slugs and their accuracy, and I came across this article.

thought it would be interesting, how do you feel about it? I read it and think it makes sense, that slugs act differently. Would it make that much of a drastic difference when using a scope though? I have a scope mounted on my new Hastings rifled barrel, and I don't think the brand of sabot will make that much of a difference. It's up to you now! What do you think?

I have shot probably EVERY brand of sabot in my 2 rifled shotguns. They both have their own preferences with the only common slugs shooting about equal were the Rem Copper Solids and the Lightfields. All others shot to different points of aim and different sized groups. Guns are definatly partial to certain slugs for whatever reason. Just like rifles and pistols shoot certain weight bullets into diferent groups. There is no real shortcut or one slug that will work in all guns. You have to try them to see what your gun does best with.
