I thought I saw a post on that here. The guy was trying to be funny, by saying he couldn't use this pistol he got, but then comes out and says it is a prewar 1911 and how lucky he got. Am I wrong? Or was it from someplace else.
I remember reading the same post. I don't think it was one of the Aim Surplus pistols. They look like new-manufacture with some "custom" features. I don't know who makes them or anything about them beyond their description on the Aim web site. I think the post you refrenced was about the Argentine "Sistema" .45s - I think these are surplus pistols made in Argentina in the 1930s or so.
