Double Impact

I see a lot of people around my area or maybe I should a quite a few people that carried the glock 19 as thier primary have switched to a sig p320.

Have you chose to change from a g19 to a sig p320 for your primary carry?

I wouldn't say it's my primary carry, but I did sell my G19(kept G17).

For me, it kind of rotates between P320, P229, VP9, M&P, G17 for carry.

I really haven't seen folks near me make that switch yet. I really like my P320 Compact, but I'm not sure I see it as significantly better than the Glock 19.

nah ill stick with my G-19 , I jumped ship from my Beretta 92 which I still have but don't shoot as well.:)

Double Impact, What is your sample? Do you work law enforcement, range members, gun store patrons? I'm curious.

I help out as a range safety officer where LE practice and qualify. I haven't seen a big switch - but I don't usually see a lot of personally owned guns either.

Inquiring minds want to know! I voted "keep the glock".

I'm retired now but i was in LE in a different capacity from being a road police officer. I was a firearms and use of force instructor As one of my duties.

Now I just shoot a lot at different ranges. I used to be all 45 acp. But after many yrs of the 45 cap and 40 S&W I am getting into the 9mm trend. Fast accurate and cheap.

Many times when LEO's change weapons, it's not their choice, but rather a choice made by a purchasing Dept

I've been considering a Glock vs P320 (in 357 though) so I'm interested in any comments on this.
Also Uncle Malice the handguns in your sig overlap about 9 times with my current handgun wishlist. envy:(

g19 or g43? Why would you switch calibers? I have been trying to get all on board with a specific range of ammo in order to have good simple stock piles. It is harder than you think when dealing with 2 safes full of guns.

I am going to look at the new g43 because I do like my g17 and g21 and would like to keep it all in the Glock family, although have heard good things about Sccy and the new g2 millennium Taurus. And also Kahr.

Wow, too many guns to still get.

Getting a Glock fan to switch to something else is as hard as getting a Chevy fan to switch to a Ford or a Toyota fan to switch to anything else. Doesn't happen very often.

Lol. It happens all of the time.
