Okay, so I'm talking to an old guy at a gun show and he says he has a friend whose uncle's brother knows someone in the DEA who says the POTUS is floating around the idea of allowing only three guns per household via executive order.

This old guy was also sure there were 35000 NATO troops stationed around the USA for the sole purpose of taking over as soon as martial law was declared. (It was hard not to laugh, but you gotta respect age sometimes no matter how crazy.)

I think it's "conspiracy theory" rumor stuff, but I thought I'd float it out there to see what responses I could get.

It always surprises me how many gun folks have absolutely no understanding of the limits of presidential power. Remember how utterly meaningless the president's actions on guns were back in January?

No you don't. Sure, I give older folks more respect in general, but at some point it's OK to laugh at complete ridiculousness no matter the age of the person spouting it.
 
I hear and see this type of silliness from both sides. I watched a few minutes of a show called Hate in America, don't remember what channel. If I had watched any more than a few minutes of it, I would have been convinced that everyone in Idaho and Montana were right-wing extremist belonging to militias and hate groups. The show was pretty disgusting from what I saw. I try to listen and take this kind of talk with a grain of salt. I figure it is kind of good to know what kind of rhetoric(aka bs) floats around out there. It is kind of scary sometimes what some people believe.

Oh yeah. Let's not forget about all the FEMA camps where they are going to lock up all the gun owners when martial law is ordered. LOL
