Did taurus get this one right?

I'm thinking of getting a new taurus millenium g2 9mm. I have done some reading and most of what I read stars that it's a great gun. What are the experience from the FL forum members on this gun? Thanks.

I briefly had one last year that actually replaced my Glock 26. Slightly thinner and easier for me to discreetly carry in the smaller cargo pocket of my shorts as a BUG, even with having a slightly longer grip.

Very handy and shot everything that I fit it in my short time of ownership. Had no issues with it whatsoever, and would consider possibly buying another one down the road.

I have put around 400 rounds through mine in the month or so since I bought it. I've run steel cased Tula, WWB, Federal, Fiocchi, Perfecta, Remington and some Hornady Critical Defense through it, and it has taken all of it without a failure. I have decided that it will be my daily carry gun once I get my CCW -should be next month. It is plenty accurate, and it doesn't beat up the hands when shooting. It even has a pretty darn nice trigger. I have been nothing but happy with mine.

I am up to probably around 7 hundred rounds. Has a painful trigger and its a poppy little thong, but has proven 100% reliable so far. Way better to suited to ranged shooting versus the lc9 or Kel-tec or sccy pocket nines. I love the sights, safety and mag release. It's a pretty natural pointer. My complaints are the trigger, I actually love the sa striker, works nice with an extremely short travel, but breaks all the buried in the grip making a pinch point between the plastic. But its not a major issue, I just try to find something bad to say about everything. Also, the finish on the slide seems pretty thin, although I don't see any wear yet, but I know its coming. It's the perfect size for carry, about identical dimensions to my 40 shield with a nice comfortable round count of 13. I couldn't be a happier customer, I feel it would be well received even in the mid 300 price range.

Taurus has been in business for a long time, obviously they couldn't have made it this far without many satisfied customers. Folks seem to love their Beretta copy, the PT92. I'm not a die hard Taurus fan, but I know they can make some nice reliable firearms. Taurus has kind of a hit and miss reputation, but folks claim that they have made a lot of quality improvements lately. Taurus firearms come with a life time warranty, if you buy the gun and run into problems, send it in and let them fix it.

Pick one up from kygunco.com last month for $197.95:) Its a keeper. And for the price with a life time warranty you can not go wrong. By the way I think you can still put them on back order at kygunco.com check it out. They are shipped free.:D
