Did anyone see "Deliberate Intent"?

Did anyone see the movie "Deliberate Intent"? It was on last night (8/6) on FX I think. Did anyone get an anti-gun vibe from that movie? I did. Opinions? I found the movie interesting, yet somewhat frightening. Is this where they got the idea to sue gun manufacturers as accomplices to murder?

The first step is registration, the second step is confiscation, the final step is subjugation.

No, I didn't see the movie. But I clearly got the message, from the commericals, that the 1st Amendment was also under attack by the lefties.

I see this as the prelude to the "banning" of books such as "Unintended Consequences", or the "Ultimate Sniper".
Perhaps the works of Steven Hunter, and Tom Clancy are also soon to be under attack as being hostile to the Common Good of the Collective.
Fahrenheit 451(Ray Bradbury) anyone? Or Orwell's 1984?
Are we on that road where we'll be witnessing the book-burnings in the town squares?

What the dolts refuse to admit is that knowledge is power, and it's the individual who uses that knowledge in a manner that is either legal or illegal.
The book is merely the base of information upon which actions might be formulated. So, you're potentially guilty, as a society, without ever commiting any act of aggression, hostility, or Free Thought.

Similar to all the Army training manuals we see at the Gun Shows. You name it, it's likely to be there.
Is this one of the real fears of the leftists out there?

Remember, one of the first things Napoleon did was to burn the Libraries of Alexandria. Are we so niave to ask why he did that?

That movie is OLD, but very good. Books are Banned! If you get caught with one, not only does the evil book get burned, but your whole house too.. Dont remember what they did to the ones that had the evil books.

Every book was "Evil", though I do think the Bible was among "the worst"???

Saw the thing last night. Under attack was Freedom Of Speech, which seemingly came out on the loosing end. I got no "vibes" re firearms, one way or another, though perhaps I missed something.

Several years ago, in Pravda West (L.A. Times), a New York Times syndicated columnist (communist??) writer, named Roger Simon, wrote a column demanding the banning of all guns and the confiscation, by whatever means necessary, of them.

He also advocated passing a law banning any firearms books, magazines, newspapers, etc., and anything having to do with hunting, shooting, etc. Those who wrote anything of firearms would be sent to prison (or murdered while "making a furtive move toward their waistbands."

Today, he's still at the New York Times, advocating the same communistnazi ideology.

Of course, he's a good "liberal" and a respected member of the ruling elite class.
