So, I purchased a used Dickinson Arms XXPA pump/semi-auto 12 gauge a few days ago. Got a fair deal on it, but it only came with one mag and was missing the muzzle brake. Nothing that made it non-functional, but still this is an unusual gun and I wanted it complete. Now, this is an odd-duck gun (exactly why I purchased it - interesting design), and doesn't really have "generic" parts.
I called up Dickinson Arms to see if I could get the parts, or if not, get specifications for the parts so that I could source them or make/modify something similar. They answered the phone (live person) after about 2 rings. Super pleasant guy. I told the guy what I needed and he said no problem - $15 for the muzzle device and very reasonable price for the other small part I needed. Then I asked if he had any 10-round mags for the gun - "yep - $35 each". Great, I'll take 3. Said he would have the parts shipped to me today.
Now, THAT'S how you get customers to like your company!
