If you havn't already heard by now that Dick Metcalf is for regulating the Second Amendment, then here is a link with the PDF of his column in Guns & Ammo December issue The BackStop.

Then here is the response I received from Hornady Manufacturing Inc,
"Well Dick Metcalf is no more anti-gun than Wayne LaPierre. His words are being taken
out of the context of the whole article , the thrust of which is that regulation may
mean infringement to some people. The supreme court ruled that all of the rights
granted by the constitution can be regulated or restricted in certain ways. It is
naïve for some supposed pro-gun rights individuals to take the position there can be
absolutely no infringement of the 2nd Amendment, whatsoever. Of course there can, we
don't legally allow felons or the mentally ill to have access nor do we allow
law-abiding citizens access to nuclear bombs. So, there is infringement. And always
was and always will be. The question of degree enters into it and Dick Metcalf will
fight as strenuously as anyone for the right of law-abiding citizens the unfettered
right to access to firearms.
If you are not buying anything from any company that advertises in Guns and Ammo,
and its sister pubs, Petersen's Hunting and Shooting Times I guess you've decided to
give up hunting and shooting altogether because EVERYBODY in this industry
advertises there at some time.
If you have issues with what he said write him or the magazine and ask him to
explain his position more clearly so you can understand it."
I have wrote to both Guns & Ammo and Dick Metcalf himself and have not received any reply from either. This is the response I gave Hornady for their stance.
"
I cannot believe you are going to support the anti-gun remarks Dick
Metcalf said and think that there will be no repercussions.
The Second Amendment clearly states that the Right of the people shall not
be infringed. For your stand behind Dick Metcalf I will be sure to spread
the word and clearly you will be seeing the impact on your wallet just as
the repercussions that followed Jim Zumbo for his great debacle he made
about AK's and AR's being weapons of terrorists. It saddens me that you
choose the green paper over actually backing the American people. I did
not take Dick Metcalf's column out of text at all, I can clearly see the
context that he wrote it in and apparently your company and him share the
same liberal thought process.
I will make it known where you stand in these hard days and you will face
the consequences when your wallet starts to thin.
And there are plenty of other companies that are not associated with Guns
& Ammo or sister companies that strongly support the Second Amendment and
have responded saying so to me and that they are watching the outcome of
how Dick Metcalf is dealt with.
Thank you for sharing your true feelings about the Second Amendment and
actually saving me time and money by dealing with other companies besides
yourself.
Thank you."
I hope that my fellow gun owners and supporters of the Second Amendment will voice their concern. If you don't believe me then please send them an email for yourself.
Thank you.
