Aug. 13 update -- The gun believed to have been used by
Buford Furrow to kill the Filipino postal worker after the Day Care
Shooting is a 9mm Glock Model 26 semi-auto pistol.

That's the potent little Glock created by Sen. Dianne Feinstein and Bill Clinton.

Because of Feinstein's 1994 "assault weapon" amendment prohibiting new
magazines over 10 rounds, the 17-round Glock was scaled down to a
diminutive, highly concealable 10-shot version -- the Model 26.

Sounds like one of those unintended consequences.

But will Herr Glock really want to pay DiFi a royalty on every G26 he makes? ;)
