Devils, Stars, Lakers, and Pacers, oh my, if we may have this non-gun topic...

Well Futo,
Since I'm a Sixers and Flyers fan, and proud of it, I couldn't give a rat's behind who wins :p

Oh, and I'm also a Phillies and Eagles fan. Someone has to root for the basement dwellers :)

Well, gus, you've got to root for Dallas, then, since they're playing the team who knocked out your beloved Flyers.

I'd like to see the Lakers-Pacers series go 7 games, but I believe the Lakers will close it out in 5 or 6 games. Props to the Knicks and Blazers, though, they made both conference championships interesting.

The Sixers need one more gun in there. I thought Kukoc was going to be the critical mass, but he apparently doesn't fit their system or something.

As for hockey, who cares? ;) Having a team from Texas in the finals is like having an English chef win a cooking competition. ;) ;)

Okay, first of all, individually, every guy on the Stars front line makes more than the Devils' front line put together. PUt that in your pipe and smoke it.
As for the OTHER dallas team, haha we got Dion (I'm from DC)... not that we wanted him.

Tackdriver: I'll give him six weeks to have your locker room in turmoil and divided along racial lines. Also give you a case of Shiner Bock if he makes it through all 16 games. :D

Indy has come along way since the days of "GO Colts, and take the Pacers with you!" I remember back in the early to mid 80's when the Pacers would advertise with a come see the other teams stars like Larry, Dr J and Magic.

The Lakers and Blazers game was so rigged. There's no way that the Blazers could be up 15 points then lose it.

"Butt" as you call him has a hell of an impressive wrister though. But how bout those rookies last night (Madden, Brylin, Rafalski)? Those Devils may be good for a long time to come.

Rigged? The Blazers just couldn't find the hole in the 2nd half. Same thing happened to the Lakers several times during the playoffs. The only thing not above-the-board was the officiating, which as usual in the NBA stunk. There are so many unwritten rules, the 1st of which is that the home team gets a 5-call bonus. 2nd rule is that big-name guards like Jordan, Iverson, and Bryant get a 4-step layup whereas all the low-paid guards are only allowed two steps. 3rd rule is that guards never get called for a charge, no matter how long the defender had position.

Don't worry about Prime Time. Before the 'Skins have finished 4 games, somebody will have stepped on his foot and he'll be out for another 2 months. You know he's a preacher now, right? Who knows what his next thing is going to be; maybe he'll apply for the astronaut program.
