Just got my DPD snubby out of lay-away. It's a ANIB with all paperwork and sealed cleaning rod and brush.

My camera doesn't photograph Stainless very well!!

I'm starting to develop a little back ground on this revolver, and a very nice officer (Sgt. Keith) at the Detroit Police Weapons Procurement Office gave me some help.
The gun was purchased from Smith & Wesson for $83.00 on 03/22/90. It was never issued, and sold to Century Arms on 02/11/98 for the paltry sum of $125.00. This was part of a "Lot" sale, as the Department was transitioning over to the Glock, and getting rid of their 38’s.
I’ve contacted Century to see if I can pick up the trail from there.
