Detroit and Police Shootings.

This is not intended to be a slam on LEO's, however Detroit leads the nation on police shootings. Not shootings of PO's but shootings by PO's. Both the Detroit News http://www.detnews.com and the Detroit Free Press http://www.freep.com have stories about the problem. The department seems to be stonewalling any investigation by either paper. The city has paid out millions in law suits for the shootings to date.

I live just north of Detroit. detroit has been and still is a violent city not to far removed from the middle ages. There's a lot of crime here so there are going to be alot of police shootings.

Detroiters want to hate their cops but know they need them.

Its a screwed up city that has a very corrupt government.
 
Hey, Phoenix AZ came in third!!!
It just goes to show you that when a cop here tells you to put the weapon down, you had better put it down. They don't mess around here.
