Detonics sight style help

I have a new detonics series two with an adjustable rear sight. I'd like to change the sights because the match style sight it has makes no sense on this pistol. Why someone would build a commander size working handgun with match sights is beyond me. The mount is part of the frame thought. What style sight mounting is that I can't find any answers. Also are there options for different style sights on that mount or is it possible to recut the slide for dovetail mounted sights?

The mount is part of the slide?
I think the Series II guns from Phoenix used a Millet rear sight, and it might have proprietary dimensions that aren't readily swapped for anything else.
There might be enough meat in the slide to mill it for a Novak dovetail.

EDIT: Too much "I think" and "might be"; the Series II Servicemasters had a Millet rear, I have a gun with a Millet rear, and I'm pretty sure there's nothing that will drop-in. The mount seems to leave plenty of material to cut a dovetail, but the new sight isn't going to match the existing rib without some work.

Sight

I forgot to do this before but I added a pic of the sight
Not real thrilled with that rail either... maybe cut that down while I'm at it.
