Is there any reason they don't make this, in particular? Wouldn't it sell? Seems to me a DE in .45 Win Mag (or another gun, even), would have several advantages over a DE in .50 AE or .44 Magnum:
-More bullet varieties than .50 AE
-No complications with stacking rimmed rounds in a box magazine as with .44 Magnum
-Ammo is less expensive than .50 AE
Personally, I think a slightly oversized 1911 in .45 Win Mag would be just divine.
One a side note, the only guns in production right now chambered for the .45 Win Mag are the Wildey (it can't be a big seller, given its price) and the Dan Wesson model 460 (as long as the .45 Win Mag uses Star Line Brass, you can fit it into moon clips and use it in the revolver). How does the cartridge survive with such a limited number of platforms?
