DeSantis Holster Consideration

Looking at some holsters. Here's the considerations right now:

DeSantis Tuck-This II for the Sig P250 sub compact.

This Holster Has an attached mag pouch. I figure this gun and mag in one location is too much bulk and puts too much weight in one spot. I figure on not having a mag in it when lighter cloths are worn, but would have 2 extra mags when a coat is worn depending on weight considerations. Plus the P250 has a 13 round capacity. An extra mag would always be on the off side.

DeSantis Tuck-This II for the P-64 (Walther ppk style).

This holster has a mag pouch. Since the P-64 is so small it would not cause excessive bulk. Plus, the P-64 is a 7 shot gun which makes a reload more likely.

I have the Tuck-This II. I don't always carry the extra mag, but I can if I want. It gets a little heavy with a 5" 1911 and a mag, but I like it so far. I also have a couple of sof-tucks and like those as well.

I'd suggest a holster without the extra mag pouch but that's my opinion.

I figure this gun and mag in one location is too much bulk and puts too much weight in one spot.

Weight typically won't be an issue so long as you have a good leather gun belt. It's vital in holding the gun in place and really displaces the weight of the gun across your entire waist.

I have the TuckThis II and it's my go-to rig for my EDC piece, a Glock 26! I absolutely love it! I utilize the mag pouch for just that, my extra mag! Try wearing it in the "appendix" position, I've had no troubles so far with comfort, concealability, or access to my weapon. My only issue is trying to reholster while seated:(:(!
