DeSantis "Apache" nylon ankle holster

Man! I had no idea how much I'd like this one. I would never have purchased one of these! In the DeSantis catalog it lists for $38.00, but on the NAA website it's on sale for $18.00. I bought it on a whim. It fits my Guardian, Seecamp, and (surprisingly), my P-32. This is a great way to carry a very light P-32. I could not draw from an ankle holster very quickly, but for a hide out, it's great! One of those holsters that you can put on, then forget. If the nylon stays nice and tight, this is a real bargain. A little P-32 filled with hot Cor-Bon hollow points hiding on my ankle in a holster I don't even feel. It's great!

I have one of those, it used to hold my Tomcat. Now I occasionally carry the Jetfire in it, although most of the time I prefer pocket carry for the little spitwad. The Apache is a very comfortable holster, more so than the (much more expensive) Galco Ankle Glove I own for the *&* 640. Can't beat it for the price, that's for sure.

I bought one of those last week, after seeing (your?) posts about the price. I also snagged one of the "Gunhide" wallets from NAA in July for about the same price...

My first impression of the Apache was that, it was too tight on my ankle... Not so much that I can't wear it, but it has to be all the way at the bottom, just above my shoe, before it stops cutting off the circulation. It's SUPER padded, which is a good and bad thing. But, my only real complaint is the tightness.

For $18 + $2.50 shipping, I'm happy with it.
