From Flayderman's, Moore's Patented Firearm Co. and the National Arms Co., Brooklyn, NY. 1865 to 1870, Standard No# 4 Derringer. One of the first large caliber cartridge derringers made,41 Rimfire with 2 1/2 inch barrel. { 2 inch barrels are rare and will bring a premium }. Brass frame plated in silver, Iron frames are known and will also bring a premium. Company bought out by Colt in 1870 and Colt continued making the Derringer as the Colt N0#2 Model. Listed at brass frame 400 in Good and the iron frame 475 in Good.
