I know there are a few out there who have a 2-shot derringer as a quick drop in tye pocket gun. So, how do you carry it and some extra ammo? Some pics and links to where I can buy one will help too.

Oh yeah, I have a small 2-shot .22 mag.

Thanks.

pocket carry

Here's an interesting story about how not to carry.

HOUSTON – A gun discharged and injured a woman after a man accidentally dropped it Thursday inside a northeast Houston restaurant, police said.

The Derringer fell out of the coat pocket of a 66-year-old man at about 8:30 p.m. inside Raffa’s Waterfront Grill on West Lake Houston Parkway, police said.

The 71-year-old woman was shot in the rear end and transported to Ben Taub Hospital in stable condition.
Police said the man was licensed to carry a concealed handgun and no charges are expected to be filed at this time.
The case, however, will be considered by a grand jury.

Fortunately, mine has a safety, even though one should never rely on a safety. I am carrying mine in a pocket holster designed for a Kel Tec P-3AT. It fits well enough to keep the muzzle pointed down but it sits too deep to get an easy grip on it. I was wondering who makes a better pocket holster?

And I know, "Get a KT or an LCP." I will soon, but this is all I have for now and I would rather have a .22 Mag in my pocket than nothing at all.

My bond seems to be big enough and my jeans pockets small enough to carry bare. However, I also carry in the BMT or whatever it's called. It's the belt holster with the snap that carries in a vertical fashion.

here's a holster I made for my buddy for Christmas this last year... open carry's conceiled as a PDA case, & holds a reload...

I've got a small two round .38 derringer that lot's of times rides in my coat pocket. It's small enough to fit in the cell phone pocket on the inside of my work coat.
Sometimes in my jean pocket or it rides nice in a cargo pocket.
In a homemade little holster.
Pretty much a last ditch gun, but good for running off coyotes or cow dogs where you don't intend to hit them just make them leave your area of influence.
