dependable reloading supply sites

I'm trying to find a few more places to get my reloading supplies from. I'm having a hard time finding much locally so I'm forced to get everything I need online.

On a referral I have ordered from grafs.com and natchez but I would like a few more places to be able to shop. Anyone know of any other websites that have a good supply of bullets, brass, or powder?

Thanks, jebby

I use Missouri bullets for lead ammo and Xtreme bullets for fmj. They sell cases too but I never bought those since Ive been saving brass for years. Powder I get locally. Primers too don't wanna deal
With hazmat for shipping.

I recently placed my first order with "gamaliel.com" . The Speer bullets were cheaper than other sites & orders over $50 are shipped free. Service was fassssssst!

As was mentioned, for plated, Xtreme bullets are great & very reasonably priced.

I'm really new at reloading so my searches are of recent. Here is what I have found;

I use Midway, but no matter who you order powder/primer from you get hit with a $30 HAZMAT fee so order in bulk.

I have good luck locally with only a couple of powders that never show up like H110 or 2400. There is always plenty of rifle powders. Primer are never an issue. My LGS has every brand/size of primer on the shelf.

Bullets are no issue locally. Some calibers/weights are hard to come by like 240g .44mag or 158g .38/.357

I have used midway a ton! I forgot to mention that one. I am going to buy my powder in bulk so it will dilute the hazmat charge.

Thanks for all of the help!

Midsouth Shooter's Supply

Brownell's / Sinclair

Palmetto State Armory

Ballistic Products Inc. (Shotgun specialists, but they carry metallic reloading supplies.)

Widener's

Powder Valley

Powder Valley.com has the most powder and primers I've seen they also have bullets.

I use Bayou.com for my bullets. Also Acme.com. Good prices and reasonable shipping.

If you order from midaway be prepared to wait ( month +) for powder shipments from them. Just an FYI from my experience.

Hard to get a good price on-line .
If I had an idea of the state you live in I could help .
I never buy Powder or Primers on line .
I have a lot of small Gun Shops in a 50 mile drive
Also I know what I need and buy in bulk .

Also, gun-shows! We usually have two gun shows a month here in my town and there are a couple of re-loader supply stores that show up with plenty of what ever you need.

I have never been treated poorly by any of the online vendors. Once during the "Great Scare!"" I ordered some powder from Gamaliel and UPS finally told me they could not deliver the order. Called Gamaliel and the nice lady checked, they had 3 jugs in stock and she sent them that day. Somebody at UPS had figured out how to steal reloading supplies in a shipping warehouse, and was absconding with stuff. Moral of this story---use your credit card to make purchases and if it goes bad, tell the credit card company and they will cover most of you losses.

Jebby, let me offer you one more avenue to try. See if there are any large shooting clubs nearby - especially BIG trap and skeet clubs that host big tournaments.

What I found out is that many of these tournaments are attended by small reloading vendors who sell to the participants. I found just such a vendor in the southern part of my state who travels to tournaments up near me. He only travels up this way once a month or so but all I have to do is tell him what powder or primers I'm looking for and he'll gladly bring that with him. Prices are not as good as I could get with a big bulk online order but they are comparable to local vendors (if they actually had stuff).

If you hit up some of the tournaments, you might just luck out.

Midway is where I get about all my supplies from. Have been dealing with them for years and they've been great

I buy cases and bullets from Midway or Sportsmans guide usually. My local shop doesn't carry a very good selection. I've always purchased powder and primers locally to save the hazmat fee. On a whim, I went on Powder Valley's website to compare prices. They have good prices. I could basically recoup the hazmat fee on the price difference on one 8lb jug of powder. If I order a few powders and primers together, the price will be considerably cheaper than going to my LGS. Also, my "LGS" that actually carries the powders that I want is about 45 minutes away so I won't feel too bad about online shopping.

I use Midway, but no matter who you order powder/primer from you get hit with a $30 HAZMAT fee so order in bulk.

Has Midway completed their project so they can store and ship powders and primers together? Previously, if you ordered primers and powders on one order, you got hit with TWO hazmat fees, as they had powder shipped from Powder Valley while they shipped the primers from their location.

While they have a large inventory, I find their prices to be higher than most (read regular retail)

+1 for Midsouth shooters supply. They are my favorite to order from online. Their prices are almost always competitive if not the cheapest and they have the fastest order processing/shipping there is, at least in my experience and I have ordered from many different suppliers. I placed my last order with them a few weeks ago at about 2:30 pm and the package was on my doorstep the next day at 11:30am. I did not pay up for overnight, that was the cheapest/standard shipping option which was FedEx at $8.53. They are in western Tennessee and I am in Georgia, but I was amazed.
