"Nearly a third of the crowd at SAFE Colorado's rally Wednesday were metro-area students who got the day off to see President Clinton up close."

Since when is this education - attending an anti-freedom rally at MY expense! I don't care if SAFE paid for the gas and driver's salaries, this is crap... I'm fuming...

On a side note, I'm extremely surprised the Rocky Mountain News, a bastion of socailist busybodies, would print anything like this.

The Communists back home would do the same thing. Bus in a bunch of "peasants", for lack of better terminology, into towns for "elections", demonstations re the benefits of communism etc... Why should the Pervert in Chief act any differently. we all know where he stands on the issue of freedom vs. socialism. The probale reason for the issue receiving press is that they want you to think that it was great for your kids to be real life participants in life...

A twofer advance of the socialist cause - further the childrens' conditioning and that of the sheeple who viewed the sham on their in-home conditioning receivers.

And to top it off, after having these students miss school to "support" his political activities, El Presidente will be sure to preach to us about the importance of education.

But at least the little nippers got a look at the Great Leader, right? How wonderfully enriching that must have been.

Typical Communist tactics. When I was a kid, growing up in NYC in the late 40s, they still had May Day parades.

They'd march from Columbus Circle (59th St.) down to 14th St., get on the subway and ride back up to 59th St. to give the impression there were lots of marchers.

Times change, but the tactics only slightly.

After reading the article and noting the source it seems apparent that possibly the liberals are figuring out that THEY are being maniupulated and THEIR personal Rights are being stolen from them.

There is no need for gun control to be a partisan, liberal versus conservative (etc) topic. But, the forces that be are manipulating the liberals into voting for gun control, thereby voting away their Rights.

Pehaps this is becoming apparent to them and they are seeing how these forces use children, government money, and bending of rules in order to sway the people. Liberals hate for the gov't to tell THEM they can't do whatever they want, and maybe they will wake up and realize that this is exactly what is being pushed, and it is being pushed using all kinds of nefarious political manipulations.

Any time President Clinton appears at a function, the whole event is controled and scripted. They leave nothing to chance. Those present were selected to be friendly to their message.

Compare that with the Bosnia talk given by Secretary of State Madeline Albright at Ohio State University. No Clinton planning and utter chaos.

Been there, done that.
Do you think I should have told them what I really think of him?

Something else that bothers me. When the Marxists and Socialists have rallies there are always Sugardaddies who pick up the tabs for travel, lodging, meals, signs, bricks etc.

On the other hand, we cant have an effective rally in DC because of jobs, family, money etc.

Aint that a bitch?

When CA's Gov. Gray Davis signed into law one of the recent FUBAR gun laws, standing in the background for the "photo op" was a contingent of Highway Patrol officers, in apparent mute support. Do you think they were either given the chance to volunteer for this detail or asked if they were in favor of the law, or wanted it implied that they were? HIGHLY doubtful. They were following orders. Very misleading, by one of Klinton's cronies. They learn well from each other, these jerks.

CM is right. Hell you're all right on this matter.

Oh, and busing is definitely in. It supports the car pooling thing, (which BTW, ALgorE invented) what with the gas prices being what they are. And he's making an asserted effort to show that the children are for it. After all, it's fur the chil'en, ain't it?

Pervert was probable picking out the next aide, and this was all a ruse.

Best Regards,
Don

The most foolish mistake we could make would be to allow the subjected people to carry arms; history shows that all conquerers who have allowed their subjected people to carry arms have prepared their own fall.

Voted and said what I had to say. BTW, there was a brown haze over Denver still today.

This was another of the mass media's idea of "balanced" reporting. The quaint little meeting Clinton held here in Denver was stuffed with anti gun grabbers by invitation only. You call that venue balanced? The article then mentions the irrefutable evidence that guns used in crimes are in the main bought at gun shows because of the ever-mysterious "gun show loophole." First of all, what is the loophole? There is none. If you purchase a gun from an FFL dealer at his shop or at a gun show, you must fill out and sign a 4733 and submit to the instant check. Private citizens also attend these gun shows. They have a perfect right to sell their property to another private citizen via a private agreement. Lastly, the majority of guns used in crimes are stolen, not bought at gunshows. Where is your documentation to prove your documented "evidence"? Mine is in the Department of Justice stats under FBI

Were all of the kids issued brown shirts, riding breeches, riding boots and a cute little belt that goes over the shoulder?

Gun Control: The proposition that a woman found dead in an alley, raped and strangled with her own panty hose, is more acceptable than allowing that same woman to defend herself with a firearm.
