This cuts both ways, to some extent. However, I do believe that Democrats and liberals have become incredibly hypocritical.
My current favorite is the 'rule of law' / 'will of the people' dichotomy.
When the courts, legislature, attorney general, etc. find in their favor, the Democrats love to cite the 'rule of law'. However, when the law is not in their favor, when the liberals get caught with their hands in the cookie jar, then we hear about the 'will of the people'. Change a few names and a few dates, and you essentially have the Cultural Revolution, rise of National Socialists, and all kinds of unattractive political movements. Of course, to compare current liberal 'spin' to fascist propaganda is, well, impolite, no?
