My wife works with a bunch of lifelong Demos. She was telling me that at work today a lot of them were quite upset at what was happening in Florida. They were saying that if Gore continues this and goes to court, it will be the last time they ever vote for a Democrat. I found this quite surprising because as I said these were long time demos who have lived in Tennessee all their life, and Tennesse has until recent years been a Demo stronghold. Maybe there is hope yet.
 
What you say makes sense. Obviously, despite my irritation and rhetoric, there are millions of good, decent people that still voted for Weird Al. Many of them must, indeed, be embarrassed by the company they are keeping.

Yes there was talk on a local radio show that some long time Democrats were going down and changing their registration. Two of them were a couple of 70 year old ladies that have been Democrats all of their lives.

I think the DNC have shown their true colors to the lower membership and the lower membership is disgusted.

They have shown that the only thing that matters to the DNC is that they stay in power no matter what it does to this country.

I bet they sue in court for a new election if they lose the count.
 
yes, they might lose a few old-timers. But I've never seen so much energy from the far left and the minority faction. I think this whole mess is solidifying the radicals. prayin' I'm wrong.
