I posted recently about a problem with some Shooting Star .38 Super magazines (bought three of them and none would feed reliably in a Colt Custom Shop .38 Super, while a stock Colt magazine worked perfectly). I called the Chip McCormick Corp. and described my problem, and they said send the mags back.
I shipped the mags back on Tuesday, 28 May. On Saturday, 8 June, I received the mags back from McCormick, along with a friendly note that said that the springs and followers in all three magazines had been replaced, and the mags satisfactorily test-fired.
Sunday I took the mags out to the range and they now are functioning like they should. I don't know what was wrong with the first batch, but McCormick stood behind their products and made them right.
