H henryfrapp New member Nov 14, 2010 #3 I hunt with an 1885 hi wall in 45/70, that's one of the reasons I got the socom.
M mete New member Nov 14, 2010 #4 I have the same great 1885 but I'm a one shot one deer guy so I never was tempted to get an auto !!
H henryfrapp New member Nov 15, 2010 #5 It was more the caliber than the weapon. I have six .458 caliber rifles and carbines. 45/60, 3- 45/70s, 458 socom, 45/90. I do love my hi-wall though
