Declaration of Noncompliance

J.D. Tuccille of About.com's Civil Liberties page has written a very good piece, the Declaration of Noncompliance. It probably looks familiar to anyone who's seen FOUP. Here's a sample:

quote:
From this day forward, we vow that we will no longer be bound by statutes, edicts, judicial decisions, or administrative regulations that violate our inalienable rights. We pledge to practice principled noncompliance with such impermissible restrictions on our liberty, and to encourage others to do the same.[/quote]

I'd certainly pledge to this, and sign it in blood. Check it out!

What I have been advocating and practicing for a couple of years now. What I call civil disobeidence (sp) and jury nullification.

All of us here should take the pledge and live by it. It is about the only thing that will get their attention without bloodshed.

As I just posted on another thread....

(a must read immediately after finishing "Unintended Consequences" :D )
