Whoever wins decides the fate of our right to own guns. If Gore wins, you can kiss our rights away. No doubt, Gore will be relected if he does win (thats 8 years of new anti-gun laws). I wouldn't be surprised if nearly all guns become illegal should Gore have 8 years in the office. If Bush wins, most gun owners will be safe from more laws for at least 4 years, and possibly 8.
The discouraging thing for those of us in Kalifornia is that we are loosing our rights thanks to senator Feinstein, Gov. Grey Davis, and the Democrat heavy senators. I think Kalifornia is in big trouble (even if Bush wins). We (in Kali) have already lost our right to buy pre 1994 hi-caps, most semi-auto rifles (the DemoRats call them "assualt rifles"), and after 2000 we loose our rights to buy many quality pistols (under the new "safe gun" law).
My ultimate goal is to leave this state! Until then, I hope the National gun laws don't get any worse, and I hope more states become pro-gun.
