And bought a NIB Springfield TRP (Please see: http://www.springfield-armory.com/prod-pstl-1911-trp.shtml). This will likely become my everyday carry 1911A1. I have been considerably impressed with my "loaded" Springfield -- compares favorably to my Kimber and pre-WWII Colt GI issue -- so I trust the TRP will be an even better 1911A1. It will probably be a week until the TRP is delivered. Range report will follow.
