Decided on a Glock 27 for my CCW gun.

Well.... unless anyone can convince me otherwise.

I intitially started out looking just at .45's but after reading more and seeing that most agree anything in 9mm, .40, or .45 will be just fine.

So I was looking at the G26, 27, 30, or 36.

This will be my ONE and ONLY gun to carry in all situations in which I wish to carry.

After shooting both the G30 and the G27 I knew I liked the 27 because of the size advantage. And since I already have a 9mm why not go with something different?

So the G27 it is. Now I just have to see if my dealer can get one.

Any other opinions?

Maybe it's just me, but I think it'll be easier if you maintain only one caliber. No chance of picking up/loading the wrong ammo in your guns.

Again, JMHO ;)

Glock 27

Tim, You won't go wrong with the 27 ;) I have one and use it for my CCW also :) Great little handguns, Made a Glock believer out of me ;)
Good luck with it :)

The G27 is my usual choice for carry and for the car. It is very accurate, powerful, reliable, and a lot of firepower in a small concealable package. The only option I have is night sights but the main magazine has an extended finger rest floor plate.
As mentioned above, if my other Glock was a 9mm, I would consider having my smaller Glock in the same caliber. Not only would this prevent ammo misloadings, but give you back up magazines for the smaller model. Likewise being familiar with one caliber or type of ammunition improves your shooting skills in all same caliber models (or so logic would say).
