decent anniversary gift?

For our seven year anniversary, my wife decided that this would do. I've always been looking at an RPK, and our local shop happened to have one laying around. I know people cringe when they hear "CAI", but I have a machine shop at my disposal to deal with its complaints. It's an Izhevsk gun with the TAPCO trigger and heavy barrel/reciever. Front sight is dead nuts, and the action is pretty smooth. Anyone recommend any must-haves for these guys?

Nice. I have to admit some puzzlement though... I wonder why they put a folding stock on a rifle like that.

I thought the same thing, like it was supposed to compensate for the massive barrel and bipod :rolleyes:

I haven't really looked into it much - how much trouble would it be to install a clubfoot stock? Would I need to completely modify the back of the reciever?
 
I have no idea how hard a stock swap would be; I have almost no experience with those wire folding stocks so I don't know how the attachment point varies from the normal AK stock (or how the receiver would require modification to the stock).
