Dear Friends,

LawDog

Staff Emeritus
I hate to sound hokey, but words really cannot express my feelings towards each and every one of you. Your support, letters and phone calls during this little crisis have meant nore to me than you will ever know.

The outpouring of genuine affection and caring from The Firing Line members have helped me immeasurably during some really bleak days.

The notes of genuine concern in Rich's and Dennis's voices were readily apparent even through a morphine haze, and that, my friends, is priceless.

As was the sweet little lady from the mail room bringing me a stack of mail, and assuring me gently that she'd be right back with the rest of it. Treasure, my friends, treasure immeasurable.

I wish that I could hug each of you, but know that you stand tall in my esteem.

Your Friend.

Ian (LawDog)

You just can't keep a good Texan down. Nice to see you typing again.

BTW, what exactly was priceless, the concern or the morphine haze...?

Good to see you're better LawDog.

Does this mean you're back online on a daily basis? (Dennis, we better get rid of those "SlawDog" posts, quick!)

Lawdog, I just learned about you and Gale McMillan. I'm glad you're okay.

I've had a few encounters with that Texas ice out there in the western part and also when I lived in Fort Worth. I was one lucky fatboy.

Prayers for a full recovery go out to you.

Lawdog,

Glad to hear you're doing well and with the living.

Sit back, relax and enjoy having another opportunity at life.

Great to see you back in here, LawDog!

One "contact with the police" I can be happy about! many ;)s

God speed & here's to a quick recovery.

Warms my heart to see you return!

Great to see you back on TFL, LawDog! Hope my card wasn't too, shall we say graphic? ;)

Let us know if there is anything else we can do to help out. And, unless you're agin' it, I'm nominating you for the TFL hard-head award. ;)

Take care. Regards from AZ
