DB Spartan vs. DB Stoeger

I'm looking into getting a DB in O/U or SxS haven't decided yet. Price is an issue, mid-hundreds is the limit. I'll use it for trap and some bird hunting.

What are your thoughts on the quality of the DBs of these two??

Also Stoeger has the combo that comes with 12 and 20 guage tubes. Is that a bad idea??

Are there any other DB shotguns in the same price range that you think are better??

I have the Stoeger Coach Gun which I use on the skeet range and for birds. I still get a few people who say my 20inch barrels are to short but they shut up when I make the clays disappear. Stoeger offers a good selection of shotguns so pick one that suits you. I love mine which is 12 GA. and paid $420.00 for it. My only complaint is the hard plastic butt plate. I put a leather slip over recoil pad on it to tame the recoil. Check this forum as I just posted my Stoeger info on another thread. I can't comment on the other shotgun but I highly recommend the Stoeger.
