I recieved a double barrel 12ga shotgun from my grandfather. It is stamped
Davis Certified Shotgun
Cresent-Davis Arms Corportation
Chicopee falls mass
I am looking for a diagram of it to possibly repair it. It has internal hammers which are stuck out, it wont cock. If anybody can help id appriciate it.
 
The Crescent Davis Arms Company was formed in 1930 upon the merger of the Davis-Warner Arms Company with Crescent Fire Arms Company. Crescent Davis was short-lived, being purchased by the J. Stevens Arms Company in 1932.

I was unable to find any schematics for your shotgun (can anyone else help?), accordingly allow me to recommend the following. Take your gun to a competent gunsmith and, as a first step, have him/her check the barrels to make certain that they are safe (no bulges, thin spots, or excessive corrosion). If the barrels are OK, then proceed to have him/her address the cocking problem, and give the gun a thorough cleaning.

Thank you for the information, The gun is in perfect shape besides the problem with it not cocking. i am working on finding someone who might be able to repair it.
