David Beckham & spice girl wife threatened

They had a photo of themselves sent to them, with a bullet & title "you're getting what you deserve" threat. They hired a bodyguard because of previous threats.

How can this be??? There are no more guns in Britain, so what does the bodyguard carry?
 
Beckham getting what's coming to him, huh? Sounds like another English soccer fan who is still upset about him being sent off against Argentina.

I wouldn't be surprised if they had armed bodyguards. Most likely off duty police, who happen to be armed. They can afford it. When you make $25,000 a week, and the wife makes a fortune as well, then it's pocket change to pay for the security.

Well they could come to the US like Lennon and Versace did, and, err, get shot dead here instead, because, err, it's safer, because, errr, guns are more freely available.

I don't think armed bodyguards with Uzis did Reagan much good either when he was shot square in the chest by an untrained kid with a .22

Bottom line. If someone wants you badly enough, you're most likely dead meat even if you happen to be President or some rich soccer star and his warbling skeleton of a wife.
