Daughter wants pink .22 --- any suggestions?

My daughter is tired of her brothers' monopoly with guns in our home.

She has requested a pink .22.

My daughter is 10 - so it's a fine time to introduce her to the range (she's been - and really likes it).

I don't really like the Crickett that much, although I suppose I could live with one.

Any other companies make a pink .22?

Mossberg pink Plinkster...

The 702 Plinkster is probably one of the best "sleepers" on the market.

Mine (not a pink one) has been absolutely reliable since day one.

WallyWorld sells them for $119.00.

Don't know, but Walmart sells plenty of pink spray paint. (Which can be removed at a later date.)

You laugh but we did that with the daughter's boots when she was 8. It worked great actually.

10 though, interesting. Many girls jump out of pink into other colors about that age to demonstrate that they aren't little girls any more.

If you're talking pistol, one option is to take off the grips, paint them pink and seal them with furniture floor polish. It makes them shiny and is a very strong cover (people do that when painting figurines etc.). I've seen some actual pink models for rifles.

Another option is to paint the case itself.

Ruger also makes the 10-22 in a pink laminate compact with a shorter LOP. I've got one for one of my jr hunters who just had to have pink. Overall, the wood is not bad with the variations in color and grain, despite being pink.

I know I'm going to need a new stock in a few years when she outgrows the compact stock's LOP.

Seems like I remember a pink youth model in the Savage 2010 catalogue. Not sure if they still offer it. Won't be long and I'll be looking for the same thing. My daughter is 4, and has been shooting an old Daisy pellet pump that I cut a bunch of the butt stock off so she could reach the trigger. Sprayed the hollow plastic butt full of expanding foam then shaped it with a knife and rough file to do away with the sharp plastic edges. She thinks it is the best thing since sliced bread, and makes my day knowing that she loves to do what daddy loves to do, at such an early age. I smell rimfire smoke coming soon!:D

+1 on the CZ452 Scout in pink. Fits kids but still gives them room to grow into (with a stock pad, new stock and/or scope as needed). Super accurate.

But really, pink is only a can of Duracoat away on any firearm.

Savage Cub. Comes in pink laminate in either conventional or thumbhole. My 9 yr. old's is a little tack driver. Accutrigger helps alot.

You could get her a 522 AR and camo it in pink. I doubt that her brother would be cought dead with it. (LOL)

Thanks guys - narrowed down the options for operation pink

a) CZ 452
b) Savage cub
c) Cricket
d) Will admit - I looked briefly at a Sig Mosquito in pink .

I saw the daughter admiring a Charter Arms pink lady ----- but told her that she needs to wait for that one!

My daughter was 9 last year when she got her Cricket. Simple, functional, cheap, and PINK. She loves it. My rifles don't like sharing space in the safe with it so it sits by itself but they'll come around:D

Saw an almost pink barreled 10-22 with a Tactical Solutions upper on it the other day. Can tell you that Tac Sol is accurate.
