Daugher bags turkey her first time out

Too big to inline, but here's a teaser...

I coached Abby to wait for a shot when they stopped. Over the last month we had drawn turkey pictures and she would show me where she would hold the gun on a turkey as it moved into various positions. The practice paid off as the gobblers finally settled down to our right. We had to move her shooting sticks, and then she was standing on her own and concentrating on the trio of toms.

She waited until one of the toms stopped and she squeezed the trigger...

Great story...We need more like that...

Lucky girl...I've met many who have hunted for years and haven't gotten one.
