Dating S&W Model 19-3

Can anyone help me date a S&W Model 19-3, 357 revolver, bottom of handle is stamped 8K500, serial # 345xx, nickel plated, 2"barrel?
Do not want to purchase another big gun book to add to my many:D

The title of your post, Dating S&W Model 19-3, brought a question or two..

Is this serious, or just a platonic relationship?....Dinner and a movie?...Tell me, please, that you've not moved to the bedroom yet, it's better to get to know one another first before taking this big step...Blued steel only, or other races as well?....
