Smith & Wesson 686-5 in .357 magnum. Nothing fancy about
it. Just a regular six shot wheelgun, and its action is not
near as smooth as that found on my 629-5 Classic .44 magnum.

I've got the 6" also , 686-4 - mine now has Hogue wood grips. Just got a digital camera a few days ago - may have to post a pic soon. I also have a 629-5 Classic with a 6.5" barrel. The accuracy of both revolvers is fantastic!

Nice gun Dan!,

Seems the long barrled .357's get forgotten a bit as people tend to move up to bigger calibers if they want a bigger gun.

The 6" 586 was my first pistol. When I shot one again for the first time in some years I was surprised how much nicer it was with full power loads than my 4" guns. Also from the numbers I've seen the 357 is one cartridge that REALLY likes every additional inch of barrel it can get.

Thanks fellows for the kind words. Just thought I would
share some of my toys with my family.:D

Well I think it's REALLY ugly with the stainless finish, the tooo long barrel, and the rubber grips and all that ..... but I WOULD be willing to take it off your hands at a very low price...because I'm just that kinda guy.:D
