Just when I wasn't looking for it. A used Winchester big bore 94 .375win came along at a good price. I was looking for A Trapper sized carbine to use for backpacking/camping and was thinking of picking up a 94 in .375win and having the bbl cut back to 16"-18" for this purpose. Couldn't find one but bought a Winchester Trapper .30-30. Also while looking for the carbine at a LGS I fell in love with a RIA 1911A1 match .45acp, which is now on lay-a-way. Don't ask me how that happened.
So, there I was this morning talking to a LGS gunsmith about having some work done to my Rem. 870 12ga. and he mentions that they just took in a Big bore 94 .375. Needless to say, a credit card downpayment later and gun number two is on lay-a-way.
Does this kind of luck only happen to me??
If anyone's interested I'll keep up on how the shortened .375 works out.
I can't be the only one this silliness happens to, right?
