Dan Wesson sight

I picked up a Dan Wesson .357 a while back. On the first range trip, I needed to adjust the sights. I was able to adjust the windage, but it didn't click into place. It seemed somewhat loose. I didn't bring an allen wrench with me and was unable to adjust elevation. By the time I was almost out of ammo, I was able to borrow one. I think that I may not have enought travel on the elevation, but ran out of ammo.

Is this normal for DW revolvers? I wouldn't think so. Can I get a replacement rear sight (and where)?

FWIW, it has a 2.5" bbl (picked up a 6" also) and was made in Monson, MA.

The older Dan Wesson's had rear sights that tended to wobble and the windage adjustments did not have very positive clicks. Millet makes a replacement rear sight which solves those problems. I understand that the new production Dan Wessons have a different rear sight that does not wobble.
