I need some help. A good friend called today and told me that he had a friend who recently lost her husband and was cleaning out his "stuff" and found three revolvers, all 357 mag. One was a Ruger Security Six 4" stainless with which I'm moderately familiar. The other two are Dan Wessons. One 4" (394xx) and one 6" (399xx) , both blue and in great shape. I can't even determine the model, much less the date of manufacture.
Could anyone help me out here or point me to a good website or other source of information. Would the present-day Dan Wesson company (now owned by CZ?) be a decent resource?
